One of the neatest Lollipop Bouquets I have seen. Joyce’s color play in her background is magnificent. The “lollipops” take the center stage with the corners softly finishing off the rug. Very good Joyce.

Magdalena Chair Pad – Cat (13″ round)

Hooked by Barb Carroll

Hooked by Barb. You may certainly add more rows around the outside if your chair size is bigger. There will be always plenty of material. I hook somewhat raggedy and it is easy to do when you hook with your wiggles. I cut very little for this chair pad – mostly for the background. So just, throw in some odd wool or two and keep on hooking.

Hooked by Beth Anne Smiley

Beth Anne Smiley of Davenport, Iowa hooked this Magdalena’s Animal Runner. The Magdalena Animal colletions are very fun to hook – and a great way to use your left over wools. The animals like all of the different directions and colors in them. I love the way that Beth Anne used the off whites in a color triangle. Makes the rug sort of dance.

Magdalena’s Dog & Cats (32 x 39)

Hooked by Karen

Wow! I love this Magdalena in the neutrals. Karen’s background is super, the play of darks in the background keep movement there yet doesn’t take away from the rug. Her border is fun – it actually pulls the rug out and keeps it free and fun.

Magdalena’s Dog and Crows (24 x 31)

Hooked by Ann Ward

Ann Ward of Parsonsburg, Maryland, hooked this Magdalena’s Dog and Crows. Ann said she had a wonderful time hooking this fun Magdalena pattern. The way she hooked the dog is neat – looks as if he has worn with time and wear. Love Ann’s “feather” also. Note the value changes in the background. Again adds to the aging of the rug.

Snyder Magdalena (46 x 52)

Hooked by Denise Snavely

This rug is so soft and old looking – almost as if the dust has settled and given it a wonderful sheen over it all. Her horses are perfect as is her wonderful background and hit ‘n’ miss. The use of the soft beiges with the muted wools ages this rug instantly. She has been able to create a soft and quiet rug with lots of motifs and hit ‘n’ miss. Perfect.
