BARBARA CARROLL GALLERY (O)

Image- Oberly Tree by Penny Gessner

Oberly Tree (14 x 33)

Hooked by Penny Gessner

A rug from our coverlet collection. Penny did not hook this in coverlet colors – she used lots of her leftover patches and wiggles for the trees – love all of the unusual motifs and the coziness of her rug. The background wool holds everything together to make this a super little rug.

Hooked by Barb Carroll. I love this crazy deer. His antlers and body were big time fun to hook. The border was all scraps I had saved and never used – or new wool I wanted to see “what it looked like”! The background is sort of sectioned into two different darks. Fun to do.
